At Boot Lake you can see Dehon Mountain, and swing by Ibby Creek it's a glorious place to stop at. A good spot to camp here at Boot Lake is Black Forest Family Camping; Boot Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. For the duration of the summertime months at Boot Lake temperatures are regularly in the       80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Boot Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Camping at Camp High Rocks is always a delightful experience; there are other sites here than Boot Lake, for example Betty-Kay Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little River; Gum Gap is a brilliant                  location to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Boot Lake is a place with many visitors from Brevard, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Brevard NC. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Boot Lake called the Black Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Matthews Creek offers some delightful whitewater. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just remarkable. Near Boot Lake you find the Mullinax Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and Tar Heel Lake is a great lake nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Boot Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls through March, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do next to Boot Lake.
