Bonnie Doone Lake regularly gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; November on the other hand is the driest. Glide down the rapids of Cape Fear in a kayak, and if you've had enough of Bonnie Doone Lake, Smith Lake is close by. Stay the night at Fayetteville Koa; a round of golf at nearby King's Grant Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time. This lake is so       wonderful. Lazy Acres is a splendid campground nearby, and get drenched paddling on Little River. At Bonnie Doone Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Bonnie Doone Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.
