Comfort Inn Rocky Mount is a pleasant site to get some rest; a lake close by is Tar River Reservoir. Bones Pond is a rather wet place ordinarily with lots of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while April is ordinarily the driest month. Put some time aside to spend at Wells Mineral Spring while you're here at Bones Pond, and camping at Kamper's Lodge Of America is always a wonderful       experience. Bones Pond is next to Bones Pond Dam which is a striking spot positively worth visiting, and hiking along the Discovery Loop Trail is nice fun. A great location to camp here at Bones Pond is Rock Ridge Campground, and there are plenty of people from Rocky Mount here at Bones Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Bones Pond is not the only spot nearby, Rocky Mount Reservoir is a nearby lake, and Bones Pond is right by the Bluff Loop Trail. Having                  a wonderful time at Bones Pond is uncomplicated. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Rocky Mount is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; Little Sapony Creek is next to Bones Pond and is always a delight to check out. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bones Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bones Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
