This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you're here, you might as well stop at Walnut Cove, and a wonderful close by hotel is Sapphire Valley Resort. Summertime highs at Blue Ridge Hills Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the       40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Blue Ridge Hills Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Chestnut Mountain is a peak you can see from Blue Ridge Hills Lake; for you golfers we recommend close by Lake Toxaway Company Country Club. The Foothills Trail offers hiking at its best; why not camp at Panther Ridge RV Park and Community since you're here at Blue Ridge Hills Lake. Blue Ridge Hills Lake is a quite wet place commonly with a large amount                  of precipitation; most of the rain falls through March while October is usually the driest month. A wonderful site to camp here at Blue Ridge Hills Lake is Pounding Branch Campground, and an attention-grabbing thing to have a look at close to Blue Ridge Hills Lake is Blue Ridge Hills Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Art Loeb Trail; whitewater paddling is pleasant on French Broad River - West Fork. Having a pleasant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is painless. Don't forget to take a fine little tour to Beasley Creek, and if you're going to from Brevard, you won't be the only one. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Blue Ridge Hills Lake.
