A visit to Blaylock Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Town Fork Creek Watershed Lake Five is one of those close by; Blaylock Lake is right by the Hanging Rock Trail. High temperatures at Blaylock Lake through the summertime are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Blaylock Lake dip into

| | the 20's. Stay the night at Sunset Park Campground; do take a hike on the Cascade Trail. Lots of people from Winston-Salem come to Blaylock Lake, and after a long day outdoors Winston Salem-Days Inn North is a great place to spend a night or two. Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a perfect campground nearby, and the Cooks Wall Trail offers hiking at its best.
