This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Blanchards Pond, you could also stop by nearby Silver Run Lake, and great hiking is available along the Lanier Falls Trail. Getting to Big Branch from Blanchards Pond is easy; there's great hiking along the Northington Ferry Trail. A lot of precipitation falls at Blanchards Pond; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; November is when it's the driest. Don't       leave Blanchards Pond without first going for a hike along the Campbell Creek Loop; from Blanchards Pond you obtain a nice sight of Fox Hill. But wait, there's more to do near Blanchards Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites, and Buffalo Lakes is a nearby lake that you could check out. Summertime highs at Blanchards Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's.
