So much cool stuff next to Blanchards Pond, truly mind-boggling. You could also stop at Silver Run Lake while you're here at Blanchards Pond; it's nearby, and whitewater paddling is nice on Little River. The Campbell Creek Loop is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Blanchards Pond; if you       need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SPRING LAKE-FT. BRAGG/POPE AFB is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Buckhorn Creek, and nearby you discover the Lanier Falls Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Blanchards Pond is not far at all from Sanford, and a lake nearby is Buffalo Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A fine sight of scenic Fox Hill is available from Blanchards Pond, and why not take a little                  spree to Big Branch if you're here. If you came to camp Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is a good spot to do that. Carolina Lakes Golf Course is a golf course close to Blanchards Pond, and going for a hike on the Northington Ferry Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Blanchards Pond typically gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Blanchards Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's.
