Do pop by Hogan Lake near Blackwoods Lake, it's a stunning lake. Blackwoods Lake generally gets a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest       month is April. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Blackwoods Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Blackwoods Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Blackwood Lake Dam is lovely and it's in the vicinity of Blackwoods Lake; Big Hill is wonderful and can be distinguished from here. Take a little visit to Buckhorn Branch since you're here at Blackwoods Lake; while you're here, you could also stop by striking Lake Hogan.
