Black Mountain Campground
Me and my family have camped here only 2 times and we LOVE IT! This will be our camping place forever. I had not found a camp ground as wonderful as this one. If you have not camped here you are missing out....This is a great campground. I live locally and have been staying here for over twenty years. It's a great place to get close to nature and your own family!

Rocky Broad River
The Rocky Broad River- Class IV-V????  Are you kidding?  Not since I moved here in '85 has there even been much water there!  You can barely even float a boat on it unless it has rained for several days!  My 7yo daughter tubed it last year (at least when she wasn't bumping over the shallow rocks).  Even this year when we've tons on rain, a kayaker would have trouble picking a deep enough line through the shoals....

Beautiful RV park. Feels like a taste of heaven. It is obvious that once you enter the park, owners Becky and Ron have a special mission for their campground. They roll out the red carpet for their guest. Once you turn into Mountain Stream, you become one of the family. Each camp site is filled with the beauty of a running trout stream. Visit MountainStream RV park. You won't regret it....

Toe River Campground
17 miles away
Toe river campground is awesome, my family and I have two favorite spots. We bring our camper down and leave it all summer. We come down every weekend. We love it and it is family friendly!!!...Toe River Campground is managed by some great folks this time around and looks better than we have ever seen it. It is a clean, family safe campground with a river running along the edge. You have to see this one to believe the way things have changed. If you have never been it is worth the trip! ...
