Gum Gap is a glorious place to check out close by; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Mullinax Trail. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BREVARD is a great location to get some rest, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a good       time. Ibby Creek is a wonderful local stream, and Matthews Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Betty Kay Lake, you could also visit gorgeous Betty-Kay Lake, and Betty Kay Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp High Rocks is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Betty Kay Lake Dam is a beautiful site in the neighborhood of Betty Kay Lake, and Dehon Mountain is simple to                  spot from Betty Kay Lake. Camping at Black Forest Family Camping is always a delightful experience; during your trip here you'll meet some people from Brevard for sure. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Be careful coming to Betty Kay Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Betty Kay Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Brevard NC; the Black Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. All through the warmest time of the year here at Betty Kay Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Betty Kay Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Going for a hike on the Thompson Ridge Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Arrowhead Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit.
