A glorious nearby hotel is Clemmons Super 8 Motel; near Bennetts Lake you discover a golf course called Grandview Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Bennetts Lake, for example Alsups Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Ararat River offers some perfect whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Bennetts Lake you'll       meet some folks from Winston-Salem for sure, and there are delightful places to discover along the Cooks Wall Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Hunters Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here; drift down the rapids of Yadkin River in a kayak. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Bennetts Lake. Bennetts Lake is a nice location to camp, Tanglewood Family Resort is a nice location, and don't leave                  Bennetts Lake without first going for a hike along the Cascade Trail. Bennetts Lake gets lots of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is November. Go for a hike on the Moores Knob Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bennetts Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pioneer Village Family Campground.
