Bennetts Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Bennetts Lake Dam, and going for a hike on the Cascade Trail is always a delightful adventure. The Cooks Wall Trail is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Bennetts Lake, and Tanglewood Family Resort is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Parrish Lake is in close proximity, and Hunters Creek is in the vicinity of Bennetts Lake and is always a pleasure to check out. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Bennetts Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bennetts Lake. | |

Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Yadkin River is so much fun, and the great folks of Winston-Salem like to hang out close by. Holiday Inn Express Clemmons, Nc is a nice spot to get some
rest. The high level of precipitation makes Bennetts Lake a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most while November is generally the driest month. Drift down the rapids
of Ararat River in a kayak; Bennetts Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Jomeokee Campground is a nice place to camp nearby.
