Getting to Hunters Creek from Bennetts Lake is uncomplicated; camping is available at Jomeokee Campground. During the warm months at Bennetts Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.       High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Bennetts Lake tend to be in the 20's. Dry warm beds await you at Clemmons Super 8 Motel; Bennetts Lake Dam is not far at all from Bennetts Lake.
