North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Bellamy Lake is one of them. There's great hiking along the Summit Loop Trail, and a quick trip to Beaverdam Swamp is certainly a fine idea. You can take a little visit to Bellamys Lake Dam since you're here at Bellamy Lake, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. | | Tar River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bellamy Lake; Dam Site Loop Trail is a brilliant local trail, and a lake nearby is Fishing Creek Millpond. The high level of rain makes Bellamy Lake a pretty wet place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Battleboro is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp KOA Campgrounds is a good spot to do that, and the Discovery Loop Trail offers hiking at
its best. Bellamys Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hickory Meadows Golf Course is in close proximity. Paddling on Roanoke River is so much fun. Through the
days of summer at Bellamy Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Bellamy Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
