During the summer months here at Belews Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Belews Lake. Not far from Belews Lake you get some wonderful water scenery at Belews Creek Dam, and enjoy a round of golf at Riverview Golf Course. Don't forget to       take a wonderful little visit to Belews Creek; you can stay the night at Dan River Campground. A pretty lake like Grogan Estate Lake near Belews Lake is a great location to explore, and there are nice locations to explore along the Hanging Rock Trail. Any time is a good time at Belews Lake if you like the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Kernersville, Nc is a great spot to spend a night or two; South Mayo River is a nice whitewater                  spot close by. Belews Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Belews Lake is Dan River, and you can go for a hike on the Cascade Trail. Here at Belews Lake you'll probably meet some people from Greensboro-High Point. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Upper Merchants Lake in close proximity to Belews Lake, and good hiking is available along the Cooks Wall Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
