Bass Pond is always a pleasure to visit. On a beautiful day you get a sight of Lone Pine Mountain from Bass Pond; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Beech. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Swannanoa River; The Lagoon is reasonably close. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you came to camp R V Park & Campground is a glorious spot to do that, and at Bass Pond you always
   meet someone from Asheville.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Bass Pond a wet location; most of the rain falls all through July, and October meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Bass Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bass Pond. Sleep Inn Biltmore is

a great site to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Dellwood Lake is nearby.
Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not far from Bass Pond, you'll discover Long Valley Lake which is a striking lake; if you have time, Blue Ridge Parkway is a national park worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at GuestHouse Inn Asheville, and there's whitewater on French Broad River for all you adrenaline junkies. And if that's not enough there's a heap more cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While you're here at Bass Pond you can take a hike along the Shut-In Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Wolf Laurel and strap some skis to your feet. There's so much to do here at Bass Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Parkway Lane RV Park is a splendid place for that. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Bass Pond. Have a great hiking adventure along the Side Hill Trail, and a golf course nearby is Municipal Golf Course. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If the weather is good here at Bass Pond, you can go for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Brown Branch.
The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
