Dan River is a great whitewater spot close to Barricks Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Greensboro-High Point here. Barricks Lake gets much water; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.  | 18 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.
Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ... |
