Lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Seaford Pond near Barr Lake, and if you're going to from Salisbury, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Kannapolis Country Club is always a pleasure. There's so much to do here at Barr Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fleetwood RV Camping       Resort is a great site for that. Great Wolf Lodge Concord is a magnificent place to get some rest; Barr Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Yates Family Camping is a great local campground. A large amount of rain falls at Barr Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is April. All through the long summer days at Barr Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the                  60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at Barr Lake during the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 20's.
