Banks Lake is next to Jump-Off Mountain Dam which is a lovely spot absolutely worth a visit, and you're perhaps keen on lakes, Jump-Off Mountain Lake is one of those nearby. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc. Lakes are great; Gore Lake is a lake that's close to Banks Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Mountain Trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many entertaining things close to Banks Lake, completely remarkable. Very beautiful scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Ski Beech. This lake is so wonderful. Banks Lake is a pretty wet place generally with a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October. Having a pleasant time at Banks Lake is simple. This is a popular place for folks from Asheville, and get soaked paddling on Little River. Good hiking is available along the Mullinax Trail, and let's not forget Blythe Mill Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. During the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Banks Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Banks Lake throughout the winter typically fall into the 20's.
