Summer brings highs in the                  80's to Bald Mountain Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Bald Mountain Lake drop into the 20's. Buffalo Creek is a splendid place to have a look at, and Buzzards Roost is easy to spot from Bald Mountain Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bald Mountain Lake a wet place; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and December on the other hand is the driest.
