Bakers Pond mostly gets a large amount of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant region for people who like lakes. Mitchells Pond is a lake close by, and at Lewis Lake Dam right next door to Bakers Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see. If you need       a place to stay Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a splendid choice; get yourself into a kayak and hit Upper Little River. The warmest time of the year at Bakers Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Bakers Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the amusing stuff at Bakers Pond. Why not camp at Lazy Acres since you're here at Bakers Pond; a nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb. A wonderful place to camp here at Bakers Pond is Fayetteville Koa, and get soaked paddling on Cape Fear. North Prong Anderson Creek is a tremendous local stream; you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Lewis Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bakers Pond; Little Creek Loop Trail is a splendid local trail, and splendid hiking is available along the American Beech Trail.
