Why not stop at close by North Prong Anderson Creek while you're here at Bakers Pond; Lazy Acres is a fine campground nearby. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SPRING LAKE-FT. BRAGG/POPE AFB is a nice choice, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Group Camp Trail. This       lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cape Fear; do have a look at Lewis Lake, it's a picturesque lake. And that's not all you can do here at Bakers Pond. People from Dunn love to come to Bakers Pond, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Upper Little River. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Spring Lake Ft Bragg, and Lewis Lake Dam is a beautiful site. There is a splendid hiking trail near Bakers Pond                  called the American Beech Trail; if you're here, you could also stop at striking Mitchells Pond. At Bakers Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bakers Pond.
