Champion Cheerleading Camps is a wonderful campground nearby, and Hampton Inn Suites RaleighDurham AirportBrier Creek is a wonderful spot to get some rest. A lake close by is Chandler Lake, and a good close by hotel is Oakwood at Courtney Estates Brier Creek. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flat River, and Bailey Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Unity is a nearby lake.

| | For the period of the warm days of summer at Bailey Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bailey Lake are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bailey Lake a wet spot; most of the rain falls during August, and April on the other hand is the driest. You're sure to encounter some great people from Durham here, | |

and a round of golf at nearby Falls Village Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Eno River, and if you came for an overnight stay Holly Grove Campground is a wonderful spot to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Take a side spree to Chunky Pipe Creek, and there's always Bailey Lake Dam to visit right next door to Bailey Lake.
