Beautiful Babcock Lake has much to offer visitors. Grassy Creek is a tremendous place to go to; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn University. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Babcock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Moores Springs Campground on the Dan River. At Babcock Lake you always meet someone from Winston-Salem, and Grandview Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Babcock Lake. Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see. All the water falling down from the sky makes Babcock Lake a wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
