Summer brings highs in the 80's to Ayscues Pond; the night is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets       highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Ayscues Pond. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tar River, and why not camp at Steele Creek Marina if you're here at Ayscues Pond. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Henderson is a fine site to spend a night or two. Ayscues Pond gets a normal                  amount of annual rain; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
