Summertime highs at Atagahi Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Atagahi Lake drop into the 20's. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. While you're       here at Atagahi Lake you can play some golf at Glen Cannon Country Club Golf, and not far from Atagahi Lake you'll find Lake Taroga which is a scenic lake. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Atagahi Lake. Going for a hike along the Art Loeb Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Castle Rock is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Dunns Creek is a pleasant local stream, and Bill Raines Mountain is clearly                  visible from Atagahi Lake. So many cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. During your journey to Atagahi Lake you'll meet some folks from Brevard for sure, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Brevard. Camping at Ash Grove Resort Cabins And Camping is always a nice experience, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on French Broad River - East Fork. This lake is so wonderful. A short tour to Connestee Falls is always worthwhile; do take a hike on the Black Mountain Trail. Atagahi Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's close to Atagahi Lake, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Mullinax Trail. Be careful coming to Atagahi Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Get wet paddling on Little River; a great place to camp here at Atagahi Lake is Camp Rockbrook. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. The high level of rainfall makes Atagahi Lake a rather wet place; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things.
