Do stop by Ashe Lake while you're in this part of North Carolina. Frenches Knob is striking and can be seen from Ashe Lake; nearby you stumble on the Bearpen Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Fleetwood Falls Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; an attention-grabbing thing to stop at in close proximity to Ashe Lake is Ashe Lake Dam. Ashe Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant

time here at Ashe Lake. Ashe Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Raccoon Holler Campground is a great local campground; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ashe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Greenfield Campground is a brilliant spot for that, and going for a hike on the Scales Trail is
always a good adventure. Ashe Lake generally gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most; November is the month with the least moisture.
If you're visiting Ashe Lake from Boone, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Eldreth At Mount Jefferson is a tremendous choice; Elk Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Ashe Lake reach the 80's; the night is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Ashe Lake.
Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Nations Inn, and if you're here, you could also pop by stunning Lake Ashe. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Beaver Creek flows through this neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the Sugar Maple Trail.
