What a site this is for outdoors folks. A beautiful lake like Chestnut Pond in the vicinity of Lake Artesia is a great site to explore; during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Goldsboro for sure. Lake Artesia is a pretty wet place typically with much rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest       of the months is November. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Timberlake Golf Club, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express WARSAW. Laurel Lakes Campground and Music Park is a great campground nearby; do go to Bowden Millpond, it's a beautiful lake. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Lake Artesia get into the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
