     North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Arran Lake is one of them. Ole Bluff Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Value Place Fayetteville CD. Why not have a look at Arran Lake Dam since you're here; Fayetteville Koa is a wonderful campground nearby. Arran Lake gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture.

   something near Arran Lake? Beaver Creek Pond is around here; there are plenty of folks from Fayetteville here. Lazy Acres is a glorious local campground. For the duration of the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Arran Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Arran Lake.
Just can't get enough of Arran Lake. Take a side trip to
 
               Persimmon Creek; Arran Lake is not the only site close by, McFadyen Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Cross Creek is a nice choice.

I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
