Bennetts Lake is a wonderful lake near Alsups Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Yadkin River. Dry warm beds await you at Clemmons Super 8 Motel, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Moores Knob Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Clemmons, Nc is a splendid site to get some rest; folks from Winston-Salem love to come here. Why not stop by Alsups Pond Dam while you're       here; the Cascade Trail is a good hiking trail close by. If you came for an overnight stay Tanglewood Family Resort is a pleasant place to camp; playing golf is lots of fun at Grandview Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Alsups Pond. Going for a hike along the Cooks Wall Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and camping at Alsups Pond is splendid fun, Pioneer Village Family Campground                  is a splendid local campground. Alsups Pond generally gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through March, and the driest of the months is November. At Alsups Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
