North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Allen Lake is one of them. Birchwood RV Park is a good campground nearby; whitewater paddling is nice on Eno River. For the period of the summer months highs here at Allen Lake get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. | | scenic lake, and if you need a spot to stay Radisson Hotel Research Triangle Park is a fine choice. Lakes? Sure, General Electric Lake Number Two is nearby, and since you're here you can play some golf at Lake Shore Golf Course.
