A S U Lake is a lake worth visiting. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is abundant here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a great hiking trail right next door to A S U Lake called the Daniel Boone Scout Trail, and Appalachian Ski Mountain Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. If you get bored of A S U Lake, you could also go to close by Potato Hill Lake, and going for a hike on the Yancey Ridge Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot for whitewater paddling near A S U Lake is Boone Fork, and Howard Knob is a peak you can observe from A S U Lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. and a round of golf at nearby Boone Golf Club is a great way to kill some time.
Throughout the summer here at A S U Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes
with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for A S U Lake. Why not explore A S U Dam while you're here, and at A S U Lake you always meet someone from Boone. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge
Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Smoketree Lodge (Vri), and Sugar Mountain is a very popular ski area around here.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything A S U Lake has to offer, you
can camp at Waterwheel RV Park, and Red Carpet Inn Boone is a fine place to get some rest. You can run the rapids of Watauga River near A S U Lake, and Hawksnest has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is located in
the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
If you adore the outdoors, you'll like A S U Lake. A nice location to explore right next door to A S U Lake is Buckeye Gap. There's so much to do here at A S U Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Flintlock Family Family Campground is a nice spot for that.
