Barnett Branch is a tremendous location to visit; Appalachian Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Lenoir is a brilliant choice, and hiking along the Yancey Ridge Trail is pleasant fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of A A Rauchfuss Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir here. A A Rauchfuss Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily       with a great deal of rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Lenoir Golf Club is a brilliant way to kill some time, and High Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk Creek, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Daniel Boone                  Scout Trail. All year is a wonderful time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Camping is available at Green Mountain Park Resort, and close by you discover great locations like Happy Valley.
