Good hiking is available along the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Marshall Mountain while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Montana Snowbowl, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Blue       Jay Spring. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Yellow Lake; Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail is a splendid local trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Yellow Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a fine choice; you can stay the night at Twin                  Campground. Looking for something near Yellow Lake?
