And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in close proximity to Yellow Bear Lake. If you get bored of Yellow Bear Lake, you could also stop by close by Tate Reservoir. Yellow Bear Lake is typically a quite dry location; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February       on the other hand is the driest. Don't leave Yellow Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Lodgepole Trail; a lake close by is Swan Lake. There are good locations to discover along the Snowcrest Trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Paradise Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Hole Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and Canyon Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. During the months of summer                  at Yellow Bear Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's.
