For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Yellow Bear Lake. This is no place for people       who don’t like to have fun. Ruby Reservoir Campground is a perfect local campground. Go for a hike on the Snowcrest Trail; why not stop at close by Devils Hole Creek while you're here at Yellow Bear Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Yellow Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Gilbert Trail, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Tate Reservoir. Best Western Paradise Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and pleasant hiking                  is available along the Lodgepole Trail.
