It's always fun to stop by Wright Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good site for whitewater paddling next to Wright Lake is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and if you came for an overnight stay Beartooth Lake Campground is a fine site to camp. A trip to Wright Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Park Rapids, and since you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Ghost Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Absaroka Range. The slopes of Red Lodge Mountain are
so inviting noone can resist. Wright Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while October is usually the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs
in the 70's to Wright Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Wright Lake are in the 0's.
