All the outdoors amusing things in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back again and again. Why not camp at Hicks Park Campground if you're here at Wounded Man Lake, and there are good places to explore along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail. At Wounded Man Lake you don’t see much rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. In       the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder River; a tremendous nearby hotel is Grizzly Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Republic Trail is always a good adventure; do pop by Cirque Lake, it's a charming lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Places like Lake Plateau are perfect to have a look at, and if you need a location to stay Silvergate Cabins                  is a brilliant choice. Jordan Pass is near Wounded Man Lake and is certainly a great place to pop by, and from Wounded Man Lake you get a delightful sight of Jordan Mountain. Wounded Man Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. A great spot to camp here at Wounded Man Lake is Hells Canyon Campground; close by you come across the Lodgepole Trail which is a good hiking trail. Through the summertime months highs here at Wounded Man Lake get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Wounded Man Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
