Super 8 Big Timber is a great site to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a little side tour, try Jordan Pass; probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Diaphanous is just a very short distance away. The warmest time of the year at Wounded Man Lake arrives       with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Wounded Man Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Absaroka Range has to offer. Boulder River is a delightful whitewater spot close to Wounded Man Lake, and at Wounded Man Lake you can observe Jordan Mountain. If you want a magnificent                  time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Wounded Man Lake. There's so much to do here at Wounded Man Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hells Canyon Campground is a pleasant place for that; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Republic Trail. Around Wounded Man Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lodgepole Trail, and obviously, this is a glorious area for folks who like lakes, Lake Pinchot is a lake around here. Having a pleasant time in the Absaroka Range is uncomplicated.
