Glacier National Park is a wonderful national park, and why not       a little side spree to Olson Creek. Lake of the Woods is pretty dried up regularly; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Lake of the Woods you can take a hike along the Jimmie Ridge Trail; a lake close by is Kid Lake. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Lake of the Woods. Paddling on Swan River is so much fun; going for                  a hike along the Doris Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Bigfork Campground, and Amy Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. High temperatures at Lake of the Woods during the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Lake of the Woods dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lake of the Woods. Why not camp at Rv Timbers Park while you're here at Lake of the Woods, and soar down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
