folks from Kalispell here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Cyclone Lake; a short spree to Whiskey Spring is always worthwhile. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Whitefish Lake is a good
choice, and going for a hike on the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Kandahar Lodge, and camping is available at Logging Creek Campground. Lakes? Sure, Mud Lake is in close proximity,
and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Big Mountain. It is very dehydrated here at Winona Lake mostly; December is the month that gets the most snow, and April is when it's the driest. A pleasant trip to Hidden Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon, and you can go for a hike on the Quartz Lake Trail.
