    It's always fun to stop by Winona Lake. Summertime highs at Winona Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Winona Lake tend to be in the 0's. This place is unbeatable, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of Winona Lake. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers,  
   and close by you discover the Akokala Lake Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Any time is a great time at Winona Lake if you go for the outdoors.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and do stop at Hay Creek if you're here at Winona Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Quartz Creek Campground is always a perfect experience; there are plenty of
 
               folks from Kalispell here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Cyclone Lake; a short spree to Whiskey Spring is always worthwhile.
If you need a place to stay Lodge at Whitefish Lake is a good choice, and going for a hike on the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Kandahar Lodge, and camping is available at Logging Creek Campground. Lakes? Sure, Mud Lake is in close proximity, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Big Mountain.
It is very dehydrated here at Winona Lake mostly; December is the month that gets the most snow, and April is when it's the driest. A pleasant trip to Hidden Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon, and you can go for a hike on the Quartz Lake Trail.
