     Montana has many beautiful lakes and Winona Lake is one of them. Go for a hike on the Numa Ridge Lookout Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Winona Lake has to offer, you can camp at Quartz Creek Campground. Summertime at Winona Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is rather cooler of course, usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Winona Lake all through the winter typically  
   plunge into the 0's. Around Winona Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is April.
So many enjoyable things to do here at Winona Lake, too great to be true. A short spree to Whiskey Spring is always worthwhile, and there's some flowing water close by, Hay Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Winona Lake without first going
 
               for a hike along the Quartz Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. If you need a location to stay Kandahar Lodge is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Winona Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Logging Creek Campground is a great location for that.
This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Lodge at Whitefish Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Kalispell here at Winona Lake. A pleasant journey to Hidden Meadow is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and there's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people. Going for a hike on the Akokala Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Big Mountain.
