Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Wilson Lake. Wilson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a good choice, and there's some flowing water       nearby, Bear Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay. At Wilson Lake you don’t see much precipitation; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Joe River. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Wilson Lake is so good! Good hiking is available                  along the Trout Creek Stock Driveway, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Bonanza Lakes. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Bitterroot Range. Wade Peak can be made out from Wilson Lake, and you can stay the night at Sloway Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Wilson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nugget Rv Resort is a perfect place for that, and whitewater paddling is good on Clearwater River - North Fork. Lost Meadows is a striking place any time of year.
