You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Wildness has to offer, you can camp at Emerald Lake Campground; hiking along the Crazy Mountain Trail is delightful fun. Having a tremendous time in the Absaroka Range is simple. If you get bored of Lake Wildness, you could also stop by close by Arapooash Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River       offers some great whitewater. Wood Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and the summits of the Granite Range add much beauty to the area. Lake Wildness is pretty dry usually; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Absaroka Range has to offer. Have a great hiking adventure along the Republic Trail, and if you're                  here at Lake Wildness it's a splendid idea to explore Stillwater Plateau. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Wildness is a great place to visit for more than one day, Woodbine Campground is a great place to camp nearby. While you're here at Lake Wildness you can take a hike along the Lake Reno Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rosebud Creek - West. Lake Wildness is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. Through the warm days of summer here at Lake Wildness, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Wildness dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
