    Many people like to go to Wild Bill Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Custer National Forest Trail, and if you came to camp Wild Bill Lake Campground is a splendid location to do that. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range rocks! Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wild Bill Lake; Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is a good local trail; Red Lodge Mountain is a delightful local ski area.  
   You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Absaroka Range has to offer. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Red Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two.
Yeah, come here to Wild Bill Lake for a good time. Dry warm beds await you at Mountain View Condo, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek. For the period of the summertime months at Wild Bill Lake highs are commonly in
 
               the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Wild Bill Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. The summit of Grizzly Peak can be made out from Wild Bill Lake, and Wild Bill Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Basin Campground is a magnificent local campground.
An average amount of precipitation falls at Wild Bill Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Basin Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
