Wiedy Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall;       through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the North Crandall Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and while you're here, you could pop by Broadwater River. What a site this is for outdoors folks. A great spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Wiedy Lake is Rosebud Creek - West; camping is available                  at Colter Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Clarks Fork Yellowstone, and hiking along the Republic Trail is magnificent fun. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Take a hike on the Pilot Creek Trail, obviously you could also visit Swamp Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. All through the summertime here at Wiedy Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's.
