Widgeon Pond is a location that is rather arid typically; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Widgeon Pond you can take a hike along the Howard Creek Trail, and a spree to 13S01E31DCAB01 Spring will       fill your soul with pleasant feelings. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Widgeon Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Widgeon Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Upper Lake Campground while you're here at Widgeon Pond, and Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a splendid place to get some rest.
