Madison River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night at Wagon Wheel RV Campground and Cabins. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Fawn Pass Trail, and Rainbow Point Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. Best Western Weston Inn is a fine location to get some rest; if you feel like a little side spree, try Madison Valley. This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Summertime at Whits Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Lakes gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; most of the snow falls throughout January; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Gallatin River.
