have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River. Whits Lakes is a good place of normal rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here while October is usually the driest
month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well check out Madison Valley. Gallatin River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by; do take a hike on the Fawn Pass Trail.
