Hiking along the Micho Trail is good fun, and playing golf is lots of fun at Whitefish Lake Golf Club. The skiing at Blacktail Mountain is magnificent. There's so much to do here at Whitefish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Les Mason Campground is a tremendous location for that, and Whitefish Lake is not the only place nearby, Dollar Lake is a nearby lake. Not much rain falls here at Whitefish       Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Hell Roaring Basin are magnificent to go to, and Kandahar Lodge is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail, and there's whitewater on Stillwater River for all you adrenaline kick people. For the period of                  the days of summer at Whitefish Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows at Whitefish Lake through the wintertime usually sink into the 10's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. While you're here at Whitefish Lake you ought to stop at Beaver Bay, and getting to Beaver Creek from Whitefish Lake is trouble-free. After a long day outdoors Grouse Mountain Lodge is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Whitefish Lake you could also stop by nearby Thornberg Lake. If you came to camp Whitefish RV Park is a great location to do that, and if you're going to from Kalispell, you won't be the only one. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork; a good sight of charming Lion Mountain is available.
