A visit to Whitefish Lake is always a good idea. Hiking along the Micho Trail is good fun, and playing golf is lots of fun at Whitefish Lake Golf Club. The skiing at Blacktail Mountain is magnificent. There's so much to do here at Whitefish Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Les Mason Campground is a tremendous location for that, and Whitefish Lake is not the only place nearby, Dollar Lake is a nearby lake. we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork; a good sight of charming Lion Mountain is available. Have a great hiking adventure along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Mountain is reasonably near.
