Visit Lake Creek since you're here at Whitcomb Lake; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Copeland Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun, and Whitcomb Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Creek Campground is a good local campground. Whitcomb Lake is a good spot of normal rain; throughout the month of June you get the most rain       around here, and the driest month is October. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Absaroka Range. Whitewater paddling is nice on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Upper Granite Loop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Whitcomb Lake you can take a hike along the Granite Loop Trail; if you get bored of Whitcomb Lake you could also have a look at nearby                  Spogen Lake. That right there is a heap of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Camping at Beartooth Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and Red Lodge Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Whitcomb Lake has it all. Trail Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Park Rapids is an inspiring site to visit while you're here. Summertime at Whitcomb Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 30's.
