During the summer months at Whitcomb Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Whitcomb Lake all through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit       nearby Spogen Lake; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Whitcomb Lake. A great place to camp here at Whitcomb Lake is Lake Creek Campground; going for a hike along the Granite Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone River                  has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. This is a brilliant vicinity for people who like lakes. Trail Lake is a lake in close proximity, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Copeland Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Why not camp at Beartooth Lake Campground since you're here at Whitcomb Lake; let's not forget Lake Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here. An average amount of precipitation falls at Whitcomb Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. Whitcomb Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.
