Montana has many beautiful lakes and West Side Reservoir is one of them. Just can't get enough of West Side Reservoir. West Side Reservoir is right by the Billy Johns Trail; a short tour to Baker Spring is always worthwhile. The Brazil Pack Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Butte Koa Kampground. Why not camp at La Rue Mountain View while you're here at West Side Reservoir; Eddys Motel is a great place to get some rest.

Don't forget to take a splendid little journey to Blacktail Creek; a round of golf at nearby Highland View Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Big Butte can be distinguished from West Side Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Butte is a splendid
site to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is good on Big Hole River; there are other locations here than West Side Reservoir, for example Moulton Reservoir Number One. West Side Reservoir is usually a rather dehydrated spot;
of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
