West Fishtail Creek Lakes is a location that is relatively waterless ordinarily; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Going for a hike on the Lake Reno Trail is always a perfect adventure; why not camp at Emerald Lake Campground if you're here at West Fishtail Creek Lakes. High temperatures at West Fishtail Creek Lakes through the summer       months are in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at West Fishtail Creek Lakes dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Crazy Lakes Trail, and there's whitewater on Stillwater River for all you adrenaline kick people. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the                  Absaroka Range.
