Wertz Reservoir is located in the Big Belt Mountains. Throughout the warm days of summer at Wertz Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Wertz Reservoir descend into the 10's. So much fun stuff in the Big Belt Mountains, just tremendous.       Why not take a refreshing hike along the Divide Trail, and skiing at Bridger Bowl is one of those things you just should do. It is very waterless here at Wertz Reservoir regularly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Sterret Dam near Wertz Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see; you can stay the night at Springs Campground. The South Fork Trail                  offers hiking at its best.
