     Bear Creek Pass Campground is a delightful local campground, needless to say you could also have a look at Esplin Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the summer months at Watchtower Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Watchtower Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter  
   nights. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Bitterroot Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail, and if you've had enough of Watchtower Lake, Jerusalem Lake is nearby.
The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. Watchtower Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
 
               There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Watchtower Lake. Watchtower Lake is right by the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Hamilton Inn is a great choice.
The view of scenic Watchtower Peak near Watchtower Lake is great, and why not camp at Little West Fork Campground while you're here at Watchtower Lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is abundant here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Lost Trail is great, and hiking along the Old Nez Perce Trail is pleasant fun.
