    A visit to Watchtower Lake is always a good idea. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Bitterroot Range. Gotta ski! Lost Trail is a pleasant location to do that, and don't leave Watchtower Lake without first going for a hike along the North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail. Summertime highs at Watchtower Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the winter  
   highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Watchtower Lake through the winter commonly descend into the 10's. Watchtower Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Watchtower Peak can be spotted from Watchtower Lake. There's so much to do here at Watchtower Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little
 
               West Fork Campground is a tremendous place for that. If you need a place to stay Best Western Hamilton Inn is a fine choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Watchtower Lake; Old Nez Perce Trail is a delightful local trail. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
There's tremendous hiking along the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail; Watchtower Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Creek Pass Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range.
