Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Wanless Lake is so good! Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Vermilion River; Lookout Pass is a very popular ski area close at hand. Go for a hike on the Bear Paw Trail, and Wanless Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Howard Lake Campground is a good site to camp nearby. This lake is       so wonderful. Near Wanless Lake you discover the Goat Peak Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Ozette Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wanless Lake, you could also have a look at delightful Upper Lake, and Rodeway Inn Libby is a nice site to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Cabinet Mountains. An average amount of precipitation falls at Wanless Lake; throughout November                  this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains. You can see Carney Peak from Wanless Lake, and going for a hike on the Goat Ridge Trail is always a good adventure. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Cabinet Mountains. If you're here, you might as well go to Lost Buck Pass. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Wanless Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Creek Campground. During the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 80's at Wanless Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's.
