If you are in Sanders county it's always a good idea to stop by Wanless Lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Wanless Lake is so good! Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Vermilion River; Lookout Pass is a very popular ski area close at hand. Go for a hike on the Bear Paw Trail, and Wanless Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Howard Lake Campground is a good site to camp nearby. This lake is

| | so wonderful. Near Wanless Lake you discover the Goat Peak Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Ozette Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wanless Lake, you could also have a look at delightful Upper Lake, and Rodeway Inn Libby is a nice site to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Cabinet Mountains. 1935. The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho.
