Upper Thompson Lake gets very little precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and August is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Logan Park Campground, and while you're here, you could also visit charming Eli Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Davis Creek is a stream you can check out while       you're here; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Slimmer Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Happy's Inn and Resort is a fine spot to camp; going for a hike on the Meadow Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. Be careful coming to Upper Thompson Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Near Upper Thompson Lake you discover the Sipes Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail.
