The beauty of Upper Snyder Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Akaiyan Falls is a delightful local attraction, and do take a hike on the Snyder Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Upper Snyder Lake, you could also pop by pretty Avalanche Lake, and Avalanche Campground is a magnificent campground nearby.

This lake is so wonderful. Upper Snyder Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Sprague Creek Campground is a glorious spot to camp
nearby, and needless to say, all our national parks are nice sites to visit and Glacier National Park is no exception. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Upper Snyder Lake has it all. Mary Baker Lake is a nearby
lake that you could explore, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Avalanche Trail. You might want to pay a visit to Comeau Pass since you're here at Upper Snyder Lake.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but
if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a fine location to get some rest. Upper Snyder Lake is a good location of common rain; December is the month that gets the most snow; April is the month with the least moisture.
